Schwarzenegger Proposes Major Cal Grant Cuts

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger proposes significant cuts in Cal Grants, the state main financial aid program for university students. The legislature in 2000 guaranteed in the medium and low-income students who meet certain financial benchmarks and academic compensates almost their full rights, which have increased considerably in recent years.
